Viticulture: The grapes for the Centurio wines come partly from the Fáy-domb (Fáy Hill) vineyard, located at an altitude of 170-190 metres and with a south-west exposure. The topsoil is made up of loess and brown wood soil on a subsoil rich in lignite and volcanic rock, which ensures good drainage. Fáy-domb is a certified organic vineyard known for its low yields and high quality.
Winemaking: The blend consists of 50% Zenit, 35% Hárslevelű and 15% Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris). The grapes are harvested by hand at seven different times. After destemming, there is a short maceration on the skins, followed by gentle pressing in a traditional wooden basket press. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, where the wine is also aged. The wine was bottled in January 2024.
